Work Responsibilities
In your role as a legal counsel within multinational organizations, particularly in the Asian insurance sector, you ensure compliance with local and international laws by providing expert legal advice, drafting and negotiating agreements, and staying updated on legislative changes to mitigate legal risks. You communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage relationships with external counsel, and liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Bank Negara Malaysia. Additionally, you develop and optimize corporate governance frameworks, tailor legal advice to specific cultural and legislative contexts, and build and maintain business relationships to achieve organizational objectives.
